About Daniel Ling
Daniel is a Senior Analyst at PJC and is actively assessing new investment opportunities while also supporting the firm’s existing portfolio companies. Daniel joined PJC from Morgan Stanley where he worked on principal investing, corporate strategy, quantitative research, and helped evaluate the firm’s acquisitions of technology and software companies. He also completed the Investment Banking Division’s training program.
He was also a management consultant at YGroup and a member of its founding team in Europe, where he worked with companies across several industry verticals, on client engagements and partnerships spanning strategy, M&A, due diligence, and organizational transformation.
Daniel was named a U.S. Presidential Scholar, and he has conducted and published applied math research in economic theory, physics, quantitative biology, and chemistry. He was a finalist in the Intel Science Talent Search, Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology, and Intel International Science & Engineering Fair.
Outside of the office, he enjoys playing soccer, skiing, reading biographies, and traveling to new places. Daniel grew up in Rhode Island and loves exploring hiking trails in New England. He also plays classical and contemporary piano and has a repertoire of popular music covers.
