About Gina Raimondo
Gina Raimondo is the General Partner Emerita of PJC, and currently serves as the 75th Governor of Rhode Island.
In 2001, Gina partnered with David Martirano to found Point Judith Capital in Rhode Island. Point Judith Capital subsequently relocated to Boston in 2011 and later rebranded to PJC.
Gina served as the General Treasurer of Rhode Island from 2011 to 2015 where she spearheaded landmark pension reform to restore fiscal order in the state.
In 2014, Gina was elected as the first female Governor of Rhode Island and was re-elected in 2018. She has focused on attracting top companies and entrepreneurs, encouraging the growth of existing businesses and increasing employment throughout the state. Gina is also committed to advancing educational opportunities for Rhode Islanders through investments in early education, computer science classes and college affordability.
